Von Balthasar on Responsible Guardianship

The Christian even today must accomplish and exemplify in his life the inalienable experience of being; the experience of glory must be thought through and formulated for our time anew, directly from the central point of revelation. So the Christian will be the responsible guardian of glory as a whole, just as once the Jew was, as he sang the psalms of creation to God and so was the responsible guardian of the glory of covenant and of creation.
